Dream Center is one of Shanghai’s newest landmarks in 2024, transforming the former Shanghai Cement Factory, once the largest in Asia, into a dynamic riverside commercial hub. The project features retail streets, a waterfront market, exhibition spaces, a boutique hotel, a grand theater, and an iconic dome art center. Studio Su was commissioned to develop a wayfinding and signage system that seamlessly integrates with the site’s architectural and cultural identity. It blends industrial heritage with modern aesthetics, using raw concrete blocks to form modular structures to echo the site’s past.
